Hong Kong Golf Club Charity Open Day
Kung Hei Fat Choy!
We’re very pleased to announce details of our second Charity Open Day since the re-opening of our courses, which will be held on Friday 26 February on the New Course for residents aged 16 and over.
All green fees collected on the day will go to our Club’s Charity Foundation, which raises funds each year for worthy causes here in the North District, including for those people who have been denied an income as a result of Covid-19.
Unlike previous Charity Open Days, this event will be open to pairs rather than individuals, so you can sign up together with a friend!
Registration will open at 10:00am on Thursday 18 February and close at 11:59pm on Friday 19 February.
Green fee: HK$1,300 per person (aged 22 and over); HK$300 per person (for ages 16-21)
In the event of oversubscription, entries will be determined by lucky draw.
A list of successful entrants will be posted on our website on or before Monday 22 February. Players will also be notified by email.
Participants must produce their HKID and valid handicap certificate at Reception when registering on the day.
Men – must play from the blue tee.
Ladies – must play from the white tee.
Handicap limit – Men (36 and under) / Ladies (40 and under)
Golf Carts – participants are required to show a valid driving license if they want to drive a golf cart (HK$360 per cart / for 2 players and 2 sets of clubs). Players without a driving license are required to walk.
Should a player wish to cancel, they must do so before 3 PM, Wednesday 24 February 2021. This is to enable the Club sufficient time to inform those players on the waiting list. Please email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or telephone (2670 1211) if you are not available to play.
Late Cancellation Policy
A golfer who has two late cancellations within a calendar month will be suspended from playing at the Club for a period of two months as a visitor from the date of the second late cancellation.
No Show Penalty
A golfer who fails to register at reception 20 minutes before the scheduled tee time is considered a no show. The golfer will be suspended from playing at the Club for a period of two months as a visitor from the date of the no show.
